Peace, Be Still is an embroidery design that is inspired to fill us with peace in the midst of the storm. I felt this design is a perfect image for the storms of COVID-19, because things have been rough and have felt like we are going from wave to wave, isolation to isolation. Speak to the storm, just like Jesus did in the storm on the boat in Mark 4:39: "Peace, Be Still".

The story about Jesus is interesting, because just before he said these three words he was asleep on the boat. He was peaceful sleeping, all while the disciples around him were getting more and more anxious about the storm. In my mind, he is saying the words as much to the disciples as he is to the storm, because sometimes we create storms around us by staying in the storm ourselves and not stepping out into peace.
I was first inspired to create this design when I heard a song by the same name sung by Lauren Daigle and The Belonging Co. In the song I am reminded of Psalm 49, which says that even when the world is falling to pieces around us God is with us: "Be still and know that I am God".
As your read this, and as you see the Peace, Be Still embroidery design, I believe that God will fill you with a peace that will allow you to walk through any kind of storm, with God, and thrive. When you stay in that peace, nothing will sway you and make you stumble. You will be able to command the storm, saying: "Peace, Be Still" in Jesus' name, and it will be.
Let me know your thoughts on the Peace, Be Still design!! Do you like these kinds of designs? Would you like more like this?
